Passed by this mushroom on my way home today… it's quite large - the top measures about 8-10 cm in diameter.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to identify what species it is since Google wasn't able to offer much help - apparently there are many large brown gilled mushrooms growing in the Danish forests :-)...
Update:
I think I have identified the thing... it’s most likely a tawny grisette, and its Latin name is amanita fulva. It’s related to the very poisonous fly agaric, but the amanita fulva should be edible, but I’m not going to eat it, should I stumble upon another one... I think I will stick to champignons...
