We went to beautiful Horseshoe Bay at Bowen and stayed in our little caravan. Our friends (on the left) also have a little van like ours. We had a great time, six of us in all. Went for walks on the beach, played cards and ate out. For 52 Portraits of Me - Week 12 - Weakness. I have many weaknesses and a nice glass of wine with friends is just one of them :)
I agree .... camping is the best and I am waiting anxiously for the weather to warm up a tad. My camper looks about the size of yours and I have a blast in "her." Her name is Ruthie:) It looks like your camper has a pop-up roof? Nice set-up!
My husband is a purist when it comes to camping. If you can't put it on your back and carry it to the campsite it's not camping. This is more my style!! Sure wish I'd been able to convince him otherwise. It looks like a lot of fun. Nice shot!
@365karly1 I haven't named ours yet other than "cubby house", it's so tiny. Yes, it does pop up by about 14" or so, just enough to stand up.
@olivetreeann Yes, this is definitely a little more comfortable! And being so tiny, it's very easy to manoeuvre, etc.

Thanks for the lovely comments. Our friend has recently recovered from stomach cancer when he had his whole stomach removed so eating has been a whole learning curve for him. He has managed to slowly gain weight and is fit and healthy again. We are so thankful that we can still enjoy these times together.
