A short drive of just over an hour from Machiasport Maine took us over the Canadian border to Kingsbrae Garden one of the loveliest gardens we've visited. We were treated to twenty seven acres of flowers, trees, water features, sculptures and animals on a sunny, absolutely perfect day. The garden was peaceful, fragrant and just bursting with color. We meandered around taking everything in, then had a delightful lunch at the cafe. What a gem, so close to us just waiting for us to finally discover it.

@joansmor Sadly, we have to leave tomorrow, straight into the Massachusetts heat and the emptiness of the loss of Raspberry. We’re beginning to look for Abyssinian kittens.
