My sister-in-law invited me over to have fun with some seasonal crafts she planned for Nora and Hunter this morning. She had everything set up at their house and we started out painting ornamental pumpkins. It's all about enjoying the paint and color. Hunter held up quite well at 23 months of active boy. Some musical instruments helped keep him in his chair. at the end, but he was great. Nora loved it all.Today was her day off from preschool. They had a haunted Halloween gingerbread house kit too from Trader Joes. DJ managed to get it frosted together and Nora did the stick on candy decorations.
When we cleaned up we all went out so the kids could run around. Nora showed off her new soccer(football) skills. She's just learning, starting practices every Saturday morning with little girls close to her age. Her daddy bought her a little practice net and she showed us her dribbling and shooting. We all had fun together while their mum and dad worked from home, tucked away as we played.
