Floating Crayons

My entry for the Mundane Crayon Challenge. It was fun working with a light box!

Had to buy a new box because all of the crayons my kids had have been broken or lost and long gone. Now I can color in the grown up coloring book I was given a few years ago. :-)

I really like how they feel as if they are suspended in the air! Cool shot!

@olivetreeann The original orientation of the photo was the crayons being parallel to the bottom of the camera, but it looked boring. So I popped into Lightroom and started rotating it, and ended up with this illusion of the floating orange crayon. I never would have guessed that the shift in orientation would have given such a unique perspective!
