Blackbird by beryl

Blackbird

He had just found a worm for breakfast (on the grass in front of him ) He soon swallowed it whole before flying away !
A damp dreary morning today -- very fine drizzly rain that really gets you wet !!

It looks as if he was scared you would grab it before he had time to fly away with it? Great focus on a bird!

They are friendly little birds. When I've been mowing the lawn ,one would follow me looking for disturbed worms. A lovely capture Beryl.

Wow, that is one huge breakfast I am surprised he could fly after eating that.

I just hate fine drizzle it really gets into your bones. I lived in Lancashire for a few years and it was always damp and drizzle there.
