Snowdonia from the Llanberis Pass by beryl

Snowdonia from the Llanberis Pass

It always gives me a thrill to go along this road amongst the huge rocks and boulders !! --reminds me how small man is in his huge creation ! The only problem that disturbs the tranquillity is on coming traffic on the narrow winding road !
Stayed at a Youth Hostel in Llanberis many years ago ! A beautiful capture. Fav.

A wonderful looking rugged area. It can be a be worrying on these passes with oncoming traffic and fingers have to be crossed for a passing point.

Stunning shot - you look so high up with those clouds.

Wonderful pov. I like the way you've composed with the cottage being dwarfed by the rock formations - gives a great feel of scale.

@maggiemae Yes Maggiemae , we do have Welsh feral goats in the Snowdonia mountains --I remember about 8years ago I signed a petition against the culling of some of these goats -- the number apparently had increased to approx. 500 and had become a nuisance to some Llanberis residence -- eating Farmer's crops and getting into gardens !!!! I believe about 30 odd were culled !
