After the frost by beryl

After the frost

The hydrangeas after the frost turned from the gorgeous pink purple to a faded brown -- the leaves dropped off !! But still an interesting structure in the garden !
Nice capture with great textures

We have loads of these too, my nan used to say that we had to leave the dried tops on as they protected the new buds underneath from frost.....no idea if that's true or not.
