This is lovely. Did you consider 'polishing' the plums? I was photographing walnuts in their shells one day and put a light buff of vegetable oil on them - made a huge difference!

@dide -- Yes I had , but preferred the capture of the bloom still on the plumbs . giving them more interest than bland coloured shiny plumbs !! I love your constructive comment --but on this image I fancied a bit of imperfection in comparison to the perfect finish in the plate and glass dish -- Thanks Diane .

I love this picture Beryl. It's very simple and the little dish is so pretty. I'd never think of doing an arrangement like this. You're much more arty than I am.
