Gathering for the nest

I watched this little blue-tit busily pecking at Alfie's tennis ball left out on the lawn . I didn't realise that he was pecking the soft outer covering of the ball to most probably line his nest with !!
Alfie is back to his normal self after his visit to the vet yesterday -- all is forgiven by today !!
