This one was captured last evening at the DIY garden section . I love the lace hydrangeas but in our soil the Hydrangeas always turn pink !!
My lads have turned up for work this morning and one said to me that I had also taught his wife at OPS - I remember her well ( apparently I was her favourite teacher !!) So he had to take a photo of him and me to show Mel tonight ! My moment of glory !!!!!!!
Best on black if you have time !!
Hope you will be able to show the photo to us. I think hydrangeas turn purple because they are fed some special fertiliser - not sure, but it could be an acidic one. As for myself, I prefer the pink ones. Beautiful shot and great clarity.
@happypat Yes, Pat our soil is alkaline , I believe if I put some iron filings or a lucky horseshoe in the soil it will turn them blue but not my idea for doing things -- let nature do its own thing despite the fact I would love a blue one in the garden !
