Amazing how one phone call can change everything -- today I should have been in hosp , most probably by now , in theatre having my knee replacement surgery ! But yesterday morning that one simple phone call has postponed my op till the 6th June . I was so devastated and out of sinc all day -- cancelling other app , informing friends and family of the cancellation !
On the rebound I went on the internet and have booked the Bank holiday week up and around Porthmadog (N Wales ) Managed to book an apartment for the week ! So back to normal this week ! with Mr Jack enjoying his breakfast !
It is a setback, isn't it when you have prepared your self for something and then that something falls through. I have been to Porthmadog a few years ago - a beautiful place to visit.
Great to be able to get a holiday now your op. has been cancelled and in one of your favourite places to enjoy. Lovely capture of Mr. Jack he is quite handsome.

It's a normal reaction to be slightly relieved at the delay I suppose, putting off the evil day so to speak but I'm glad you have booked a little break in your favourite place Beryl. This bird looks very cross & greedy!
@dannydavies Hi , yes Danny , A crow is bran , a raven is cigfran , and a jackdaw is Jac-y-do -- in Mid wales anyway !! and also according to my Welsh Dictionary (Y geiriadur mawr ) Are you Welsh speaking Danny -- if so your dialect from South Wales and my dialect from Mid Wales will vary somewhat !-- Nice to have this conversation ! :)
