I should be well light-up tonight . Today these men have been renewing all the street lights around the drive ., The lights on the road in front of the drive were renewed a couple of weeks ago and now they no longer have the warm yellow light but a much brighter white light !
Still waiting for the telephone call from the rheumatologist , but no luck so far ! I wonder if he is back at work this week as he was away sick last week ! I suppose I shall to follow this up before the end of the day as the receptionist advised me to do !
Oh I love the warm yellow lights too! You will soon get used to the new ones but I like warm! Is this anything to do with new building work, is that the field behind? Hope you get your appointment soon Beryl.
Hope you hear from the hospital soon Beryl. Our street lights were replaced a few years ago with the brighter white LED lights, i believe they call it progress but I prefer the softer yellow evening lights personally.

Our quiet cul-de-sac used to be so dark and quiet until the Council put in a street light just on the edge of our property. David wasn't happy because the light interfered with his telescope. The good news is that one of our huge trees has now grown enough to shield the light so David can see the night sky quite clearly again now.
@sangwann - Not a sight I shall enjoy for much longer Dione , as the field I now enjoy will soon be another housing estate The field has been purchased by developers in spite of our hard fought battle !-- so is life !!
