I do love Home made Marmalade but unfortunately my aches and pains makes the prep of the fruit unbearable . I have found that the prepared fruit in a tin is such an easy way to achieve as near as home made as you can get . This time I have made the Lemon variety !
I like this prepared fruit way too - another option is to cut up the fruit a bit and put in a processor or a juicer! Well done for really good marmalade!
I really enjoy marmalade Beryl but you know surprisingly it's not popular on the breakfast table! I hardly ever buy it, they seem to prefer jam, preferably red jam or apricot is popular too but marmalade no thanks! You have done really well with all these jars, will look great in your cupboard!
I love the idea of making marmalade out of lemons. When my lemon tree produces a good crop I, very often, do not know what to do with all those lemons apart of giving away to relatives. I have to tell Christine about this.
