….with no sign of slug and snail damage ! (or am I speaking too soon ! )

@craftymeg - No , Margaret -- I do not use slug pellets in the garden due to the birds and also Alfie !! So I have been very lucky unless the birds find the slugs before they do any damage ( the hostas is more or less under the bird table !! )

No slug damage then Beryl....too dry perhaps but perhaps you’ve trained yours to keep off the hostas!

@happypat Ha ha 1 only wish !! I sometime wonder its because they are more or less under the bird table and the birds eat them before they start feeding on the plants - I do not use slug pellets because of the birds and Alfie !!
