-- dilly dilly ……. The lavender is doing well in the garden with its haze of blue . I have picked a few stems to put in a vase in the house !
My head cold goes on , and I can not sleep . So I have come downstairs to have a drink ! Yesterday I had no hot water ( or heating ,if I had needed it ! ) and found that my gas boiler had developed a fault . I couldn't get through to the B Gas - each time I phoned I had a message that it was not available at that moment ! Eventually last night I decided to go on the web site and dealt with the problem instantly !!! and have booked an engineer to come out this morning between 8am and 1pm !
Weekend is upon us once again - do have a good one !

I love Lavender, but my husband is allergic to it....so we can't have any of any type anywhere.......I remember the Marillion song from the 80's of this !
So beautiful makes me so happy to see since my gardener thought mine needed a trim and whacked them down to the quick- I am pretty sure they are dead... hope you feel better soon and the rest of your weekend gets better
Not a good day fir you then Beryl. So sorry you are under the weather...could just do without added worries! It all comes in batches! Me with my best sleep & you with worst! Lavender is very calming so sniff deeply & rest as much as possible.
Beautiful frame. It complements the flowers perfectly. You have a terrific framing month developing here. Hope the engineer fixed one problem and that time has fixed the cold.
I live your collage. Have you tried putting a vase of lavender by the bed, or even beside the pillow? I think it's good for inducing sleep. Hope you feel better soon
Lovely lavender captures Beryl it does make a lovely show in the garden. Hope you will soon be feeling much better and you are not long without hot water
@happypat@busylady I love the lavender perfume and I have in my bedroom a small dish with cedarwood balls which I soak in lavender oil - giving me a gentle waft of lavender . I couldn't sleep because my head was so bunged up and couldn't breath lying down ! I think I have made up with some sleep today !!
