This reminds me of Kipling's " The Glory of the Garden" ! Now the poppies have come to the end of their flowering life with the fat seed-heads developing ,- and the Phlox in full bloom !

Even the poppy heads add so much to your garden Beryl….this is a lovely corner, I can never picture gardens when planting…..some have vision of how it will turn out but not me!
I don’t know what the flower is, it’s in a neighbours garden, maybe some sort of saxafrage. Tony Gig might know!
