Amongst the other garden birds the Sparrows are tucking into their Breakfast feed .

A day when Gary will poke his head into the attic to find the Christmas Boxes and bring down - so here the decorating for Christmas begins ! -- less is more this year !

Yes I like less is more! It’s lovely to get them up though, makes you feel really Christmassy!
Our sparrows only seem to eat of the ground, we used to put the seed around the bottom & they always ate there. We perhaps made it too easy for them! 🤣

My birds seem to have done a runner, the feeder hasn't been emptied in days, I wonder if the sparrow hawk has been in the garden again scaring them off!

Just packed my decorations so now need to decide where to put them. All decisions in a new house. Sadly we have very few small birds in the garden. Seagulls and Magpies see them off.

Lovely capture I haven't seen a sparrow in the garden for a long time always have my two dunnocks and robin here most of the day. I will only be putting up a few decorations again this year not looking forward to celebrations.
