The boxes of Christmas decorations are down from the attic !! but as yet I haven't done much on putting up the decorations , my motto for this year is "less is more " . so I will have to be selective in what I use from the boxes before sending the rest to the Charity Shop ! (or at least that is the intention ) !!
I must do the same thing. I did take two large sacks of ornaments to our local charity, but must go through everything again. This is a lovely image of your decorations.
We are all full of good intentions to have a clear out !!
At the moment am just glad that my computer has decided to work for a few moments, after my poor daughter has been trying everything with it all morning. We just don't know.....
We sold lots of our Christmas decorations a couple of years ago before we moved. I knew I would have no stairs to decorate etc so was glad someone gave them a good home. I sometimes wonder if they are looking as good as they did in our house.
I have a small square box of lovely tree decorations collected over the years….a ready lit tree & wreath for door which I bought at local veg shop & that’s it! Less is much more Beryl. Keep all the sentimental ones though or you will regret it. Looking forward to seeing the result!
Ours have been down from the loft for a week or so, so that I could put the advent scene in the window on December 1st, but I have only just opened the boxes today - looking for the card hangers.

We plan to put up our tree tomorrow!
