This little bush only a couple of years old , so still little , but full of flowers ( with a hint of purple ) It started life as a blue hydrangea, but in our soil it is converting back to pink. I know I can feed it on certain chemicals ! but lets nature be !
I am always envious of people who take photos of hydrangeas. We used to have them in the garden when we lived in Melbourne, but they just won't grow up here in New South Wales, well not in our garden anyway.
They’ve turned a lovely colour. We have a hydrangea that seemed to have both blue & pink flowers & also colours in between. This year though there have been no flowers so far!
They are an amazing flower to photograph. You're right to let nature take its course- my friend's hydrangea produces two-toned flowers that way. Pretty shot!
