Just "happened" on this very pretty, autumn-y colored butterfly as I walked past this big sunflower. As you might imagine, I was very glad that I have begun to carry my camera just about everywhere and at all times. Managed to take several shots before it winged away! This was my favorite!

@bjywamer Oh no that's early. Its only a bit miserable here, but my hopes are for good weather starting next week , since its the "Golden October " ahead . That's what we call it here, when there is a lovely weather in October
@khirsch Glad you still have some nice days to look forward to enjoying! October and November were wonderful where I grew up. Haven't lived there for many years now, though! Winter temperatures will challenge me as I attempt to get the outdoor photos I prefer...
@bjywamer Lucky you, to get great winter photos. Here we have reall winter very rarely, though last year was snowy and cold, but it was like that all over Europe. So looking forward to your winter shots
