@smiffy37@skstein@calm@sansjuan Thank you, dear friends! The doll on the left I received as a total surprise one Christmas. I had been longingly admiring it in a small local store and had shown it to my husband; but, I never imagined that he would actually purchase it for me as it was quite expensive... He not only bought it but also built a lovely lighted display case for it. The case, with the doll inside, was so large that he could not gift-wrap it so simply covered it with a blanket and set it next to our Christmas tree. The other doll I saw in Anchorage when we were preparing to fly somewhere. My husband had been trapping furs and took them to a local place to sell them. Naturally, I browsed the rest of the store while waiting and the rest is history! The money he made from his furs he gave up so I could purchase the darling doll in her summer Eskimo clothing. :-) I have a very giving man!
