Our plans to go two hours south this morning to visit friends got cancelled last minute. So, since we were up and about so early, my husband suggested that we drive up to the National Bison Range, only a short distance from our home. It was a bonanza day for seeing wildlife. We don't always see antelope but saw quite a few, in addition to loads of whitetail deer, a coyote, bison (of course), and, best of all, elk...both cows and bulls.
