Decorating the Christmas Tree

The first weekend in December is reserved for the family gathering together at Mom's house and decorating the Christmas Tree and of course putting out all the other Decorations. The afternoon starts with a nice dinner made by Mom. You can't beat a good home cooked meal followed by her Cherry Cheesecake and Butter Tarts for dessert.
Here is my Mom helping her grand kids It is always a fun filled day. This is followed up by my Mom spending the next few days when she is by herself looking at the tree and making some final adjustments to get it looking just right

Now that is a wonderful tradition. your Mom is right there helping the grandkids. now do you all spend Christmas at her home? since when my grandchildren were small we all got together at my son's place and now years later and two of the tree are off to university we still get together there. It's become a family tradition and we're all looking forward to it every year.
