Real or Artifical by bkbinthecity

Real or Artifical

I still remeber the first year my parents went withan artifical tree fro Christmas. I went out and bought a real one and put it up in our family room in the basement. I insisted it could not be Christmas without one.
Even to this day I insist on a real Christmas tree.So I could not resist taking this shot of a tree lot which was across the street from where Melody's parents live
Amy
I buy real ones, too. :)

We've never had a real tree, not even as a kid. But we have had some darn good artifical ones, that looked real.

I'm with you. Real or nothing. Can't beat the smell of a new tree in the house.

Real!!! I'm the only one in the family that still has a real tree. I love the smell and I also love the hunt for the perfect tree. Many years ago, we went into the woods and cut down a cedar tree. Now, we get our tree from a Lowes store. We have both been sick and haven't had a chance to get our tree yet. Planning to get it this weekend. :0)

I'm the same way . . gotta have something "live" in the house or it doesn't feel right. Great photo, bkb!

Artificial for me, but real for other people who have time to clean up.

I've never bought a tree, so it would be no-tree for me:-) now I don't buy one because of the cats, i'm afraid what they can do with it:-)

you were determined when you were a child- good for you! real trees are the best

Absolutely REAL!! The only people who should have artificial trees are those with asthma or anyone who is highly allergic to firs. In my mind there are no other exceptions! haha! And yes, we have a real tree up this year- I did it all by myself this time and I'm quite proud of it!! Nice shot.

They look perfectly shaped trees, great to decorate.

artificial for me, we chop enough trees down I reckon, and the pins will fall this year in the UK because Autumn was too warm, the trees shed worse after a warm autumn.

I've done both - I like a real tree, but I like to buy one later on in the month and there are so few options now - interesting shot

we actually used to go to a friends nursery and cut down our own tree every year, with our own chainsaw....I miss those days....

Always except for 2 times..but then we went back to a real tree again..the artificial one is stored away.I love real candles on the tree...they give the it a beautiful glow. ours is up but so far not lit yet. my husband always says we must burn the candles to make sure they are all placed right.

You've really captured how a tree lot looks at night. We have an artificial tree because real ones got so expensive--but I miss the real ones!

i've decorated a real tree and i swear the decors look much more 'festive' on it rather than the fake one. cool shot.
