A Little Bit of Magic by bkbinthecity

A Little Bit of Magic

Once again this year some of the stores on Whyte Avenue in Old Strathcona have joined together to bring back a little bit of magic for the holiday season. They each decorate their store window with a special Christmas scene. I took this shot so I would have something for today. I am hoping to get the chance to go back in the evening and take some shots when they are all lit up. In the meantime I have to get my shopping done.
What a pretty, nostagic display!

That's a very nice idea those businesses have. The reflections give it sort of an past and present twist! Good shot.

Love the scene, but you know, not that I want to be a critique, if you slap a polorizer on the lens, you would probably get rid of most of the reflection from across the street. They make great Chrismas gifts. :-)

Love it! We just saw the windows along 5th Avenue in NYC, and this reminds me somewhat of them. This is a nice tradition in today's cost-cutting economy. Your photo may prompt me to post one of the windows of Lord and Taylor.
