Well today I took the day off to attend the funeral of a longtime family friend who passed away last Saturday from cancer. After the service and the lunch we hopped on the bus and we were off to get somemore shopping done before the weekend arrives.
While waiting for a bus I took the time to take a shot of these rather large shoes which are located outside of Southgate Mall. They were part of the city's One Per Cent Art Policy that is designated to funding special projects around the city.
Well almost all of the shopping is done. Two more days of work left before a nice short holiday.
Oh, they're shoes, aren't they? Even though I had looked at the larger photo, I had on my mind the image in the thumbnail, which is where I got the idea that they are boots.
nice tones and capture to match your caption, and those shoes to fill could be the person you've lost too - commiserations on the funeral - it's the time of year
I'm sorry to hear about your friend. It's never easy....
