Well I know there are some of you that are doing the scavenger theme for he month of January. Well I thought about that when I waw this. I was downtown waiting to cross the street when I looked up and saw this reflection in the the Scotia Place Tower. I knew that this was one of the words so I took the time to take this shot.
I always find it interesting what kind of reactions you get from people as you are just standing there looking up with a camera, especially when you are now in there way as they are trying to cross the street. Oh well I think we are all in to much of a rush and we need to slow down and take the time to just relax anyways.
Meanwile back to my picture. The building in the reflection is the Manu Life Place Building which sits kitty corner to Scotia Place
So I will continue to take the time to look up because you never know what you might see.
Beautiful reflection.
I often get odd looks when taking photos. The other day I was lying down on a cushion (the floor was really cold) outside my house, trying to get a photo of the toy alien. It wasn't until I stood up I realised two people had parked their car and got out to figure out what I was doing. I explained and they looked rather amused.
Glad you weren't bothered by the other onlookers looking at you and took the time to take this shot. It's really cool. Sometimes we get worried about what we look like taking the "odd" photo and might miss a great shot. I find having 365 on my mind makes me look up, and look down, and look at otherwise ordinary things and think about an odd reflection or something. Yes, slow down and smell the rose, so to speak.
