One more shot from the airport. They have this wishing well and as yoiu can see it is full of lots of coins most of which are usually pennies.
On Friday the Royal Canadian Mint produced its last one cent penny. It will be interesting to see how things go without it around
Amazing wishing well, we have one in Kings Park Gardens, i was told when i was a kid, that the kids would stick chewing gum on a stick and lift the money out.... little shockers.
Looks like the coins have been accumulating for quite awhile, perhaps they could use some help for this project!!....just an imaginary thought,,ha ha !
Lots of wishes captured here - they did away with our 1 and 2 cent coins, it doesn't take long to adjust, they seem to go out of circulation very quickly!!
I like how the lights on the pennies puts some pretty sparkles on there. The US mint wants to do away with the penny as well, but I think it's just an excuse to raise taxes even higher. You can't increase things by pennies if you don't have them.
That's interesting about the penny.
Nice find and a great capture , love the reflections in the water
