Well I did not get to take the picture I had in mind today. So I went back to an older one. The Mill Creek Ravine runs from Argyle Road on the southside and comes out on the south bank of the river valley near the Low Level Bridge. The Creek is named after a grist mill that was established in 1878 by a man named William Bird. The Ravine has a interesting history to it which includes numerous businesses, a railroad and a history of flooding.
This particular location was once home to Vogel's Meat Packing Plant. All that remains now is the road and part of a gate that was on the property.
Today the Mill Creek ravine is home to a number of walking trails which are used by many people. Thanks for stopping by
