We went over to Mel's parent's place for supper. Her brother and sister-in-law are in town for the weekend. They are visiting from Cranbrook British Columbia.
To our surprise we discovered that Mel's Dad who is a very talented musician has decided that he would like to learn the saxaphone. So here he is trying out his new Alto Sax. He is 81 years old so it is true that you are never to old to learn something new
I have to totally agree with you bkb! Never stop learning or working (even if it is just around the house) Once we stop moving ..its bad for the circulation!! :) Great Shot! I love it!
well, good for him. i believe the best time to learn something new is when you're over fifty. we get a much wiser approach on things. whoever said you cannot teach an old dog new tricks was definitely wrong. cool shot, brian!
Good for him! I've also learned that learning new things and doing word puzzles on a regular basis is a great way to prevent Alzheimer's. I think it's just true for anything in general. If you keep your mind sharp, it stays sharp!
I hope that's something I can do when I'm that age. I play a couple of instruments, but there are so many I'd like to learn how to play!
