Well you could not ask for a better day for the first day of fall. The weather was perfect. It was around 26 degrees (82 F) I was able to wear shorts and a t-shirt. So Mel and I went out for a walk. She had suggested we go to the Muttart Conservatory, getting there was another story. We made our way to the Riverfront Park below the convention centre and as we were crossing the footbridge we saw several people out in canoes. So I thought this made for a nice sho. I really enjoy shooting our skyline here in Edmonton and today I thought the couple in the canoe made the shot a little more interesting. As they had gotten closer to us just before passing underneath the bridge I discovered that they had a little motor attached to the canoe. You may be able to notice the trail in the water behind them
We did make it across and got in some very nice shots of the wonderful scenery. I will most likely share some of those shots in the days to come
Great composition. Love the variety of landscape from the skyline to the river. Looks like a great day - glad you were able to get out and enjoy it. It was chiller here is Wisconsin with temps hitting the upper 50's (F).
@maggiemae It is a bit of a hike but in the nice weather and the beautiful scenery it is not to bad at all. They also have many benches along the way for people to rest
