Well today we are spending the day indoors for the most part as Mel has come down with a cold. So it is a great chance to show off the Muttart Conservatory. This is a beautiful spot to enjoy flowers and plants from around the world. The complex consists of four glass pyramids that all of this is housed it.
I took a few different shots from the outside yesterday while we were down there. I liked this one stood out as soon as I took it.
We will have to go back one of these days and go inside so I can share that with all of you as well
Hi Brian! Love how you framed this with foliage.......can't WAIT to see what's on the inside! Chicken soup, bedrest and warm thoughts for Melody. :D (When time time permits, check out my posting for Sept.13th; you're in for a surprise. :D) Take care now, Les
@glimpses Thanks Les she is getting both. I checked out the photo. Thank you for posting that. I like them both but I really do love what you did with the one in sepia
Love these buildings, haven't been there in a long time. I here the Christmas poinsettia display is amazing. Nice up close shot. Hope Mel feels better soon.
Great shot Brian! I really like your pov on this one. And you've composed the shot in such a way that it shows off the pyramid structure you were talking about. Get Well wishes for Melody!
@bkbinthecity Glad the Mel is taking it slow and easy; hope she is up and about soon.:D Thanks for your appreciation of the fire boxes. The sepia on was fun and easy. I just used some crazy editing tool that I found on "Ribbet Easy." Hope your week gets off to a great start, Les
