Well Melody and I never did have any children of our own. We came to be at peace with that quite a few years ago. However, through out our married life we have always said to each other that we are our own little family.
I mentioned in yesterdays shot that we had a friend do a photo shoot for us so we could make some Christmas cards. This was one of the shots that was taken. It was taken at the Grant Notley Park. It was a very nice day weather wise and we had a lot of fun doing the photo shoot, until we went to leave and I discovered that I had gotten a parking ticket for an expired parking meter. Oops I guess we were having too much fun. It was only $35 so no big deal and they day was still so much fun
That is a very nice capture of the two of you. It's good to hear you came to terms that you two are your own little family. I have my children, and I adore them, but they also have their own wings, and they go on with their lives, so at the end it comes to the couple being the little family. Nice to see such a happy couple.
I think you could extend yourself with your talents to get a closer look at your two persons! I do agree with @anazad511 as we have to be happy with the development of our lives, family upbringing or not!
What a wonderful photo of the two of you, Brian. It does come to the two of you, children or not. Looks like a beautiful day. Too bad about the parking ticket but you brushed it off so well. You do not seem like one that gets upset, is just happy most of the time.
Beautiful words and @anazad511 couldn't have said it any better. This was taken in such a lovely setting.... perfect for your Christmas card and a fav! Sorry about the traffic ticket though.
It does cross my mind many a time that couples who for what ever reason have no children do develop a great togetherness that sometimes if you have kids you lose through the wider reaches & distractions of family life so really nice to see the two of you so close & happy in this gorgeous place.
i love this shot, but i love the profile photo more. you guys are such a lovely couple and i can't wait to meet both of you. i hope it will be soon. i am in awe of your love and devotion for each other. but i agree with what pat knowles had written. the snow did have a use after all, didn't it? wonderful photo of two wonderful people.
what a lovely shot , and great idea to have a friend help out.
So often the person behind the camera never gets in the albums.
a reminder to me to get some pairs pics shot.
Rats on the ticket. Sometimes If i see a great shot but no where to park car, I sort of squeeze in where not supposed. Liek 3 times I've gotten tickets probably totaling around $200.
What a nice photo--love Melody's red coat! Is this the one you chose for your Christmas card? It illustrates so nicely your closeness. This Thanksgiving, my husband and I will be our own little family again as none of our children can make it home that day.
What a beautiful and wonderful family you are! What a lovely couple. Children don't stay around forever. I have two grown sons, and they aren't going to be with me for Thanksgiving...so it's great that you are so close and can be your own little family.
Great shot Brian! I admire the fact that both of you enjoy all these shots together! lol- I hate being in front of the camera and Jeff's not too crazy about pictures either! It does come down to the two of you- children or not. It is very apparent to me that the both of you are a dynamic duo! I love hearing about your adventures together and always enjoy the pictures that come with them!
