Well today was a very busy day for us. We met some friends today and we were the subjects of a winter photo shoot as we wanted to get a nice pic for a Christmas Card we can send it out later. Then it was off to Churchill Square downtown for the annual Light up the Square where they turned on the lights to our big tree. It was a very nice night for it. The tree is 72 feet tall and is decorated with 14000 LED lights. Over 20,000 people gathered together for a fun time with lots of great music and activities leading up to Santa arriving and the tree being lit up
What a nice festive photo Brian! I envy you you know, here in Kiwiland everything is so low key, you wouldn't know it was close to Christmas at all....
Yesterday I was in the Wroclaw's market, and I saw enormous Christmast Tree... I made a mistake 1 day ago, when I had been surprised by your photo, with Christmast tree in it.
The first Christmas tree shot I've seen this year and how bright and colourful it is! This makes me feel all excited about the coming season and also a little anxious that I haven't started my shopping yet ;o) xx
Fantastic shot. It is amazing how the tree isn't even visible.
I was sure I was following you, but I realized you weren't showing up in my feed. That's fixed now. :-)
What a beautiful tree and sounds like a fantastic time. So glad you had photos done for Christmas cards. I love doing this but rarely are we together with our son and he is not always around. Hoping we can take some photos on Thanksgiving for Christmas cards of the three of us.
