Each January the Alberta Avenue Neighbourhood hosts the Deep Freeze Winter Festival. It is a two day event filled with all sorts of fun activities for the entire family.
So we made our way down to it and had a great time. So here is just a few shots of some of what was going on. Ice carvings, snow sculptures, sleigh rides and games etc....
Living in Edmonton....this would be an event that would draw the crowds! Your typical Canadian winter carnival...having been to one in a while...miss them! Great collage!
Hi Brian!! That sounds like tremendous fun; would have loved to join in. :))) Such creative ice structures.........I like the wagon best. Giddyup! Hope your New Year is off to a promising start, Les
I'd love to see this a bit bigger as even when I magnify it stays the same size! Ice carving sounds amazing and I'd love to see it in the flesh as it were xx
