So today was day two of a short but nice unexpected time off work. Mel went shopping so I went over to visit my Mom, and shovel her walks, ( okay this is where you all tell me what a considerate son I am). Then on the way home I had planned to stop in at the mall to get a shot for today, which I almost forgot to do.
So this is inside Northgate Mall which is across the street from my Mom's place. It has ben there since I can remember. It opened in 1965 when I was only a couple of years old.
Along with the stores there are some businesses that have set up shop in the middle of the mall. As you can see this one sells photographs and different types of prints and yes there was the King himself as large as life.
So with the weekend here it is time to relax for a couple of days. Have a great weekend everyone
Oh I just realised that for those not following this particular challenge the word was Sales or Shops and I think I got both in on this shot
I'll repeat the sentiment... you're a wonderful son!! I hope my boy comes home and shovels my driveway some day!! Nice shot for your challenge. I wonder how many Elvis canvases they sell in a day???
Just heard on the radio today ..the announcer said that a lot of people believe Elvis is still alive..what is your take on that? you did well with Sales and Shop..afterall the shop is there to make sales. great picture of Elvis. I also see Elvis pictures in stores in our malls.
It's interesting to me that this shot could pass for any number of malls in the US too- right down to the Rolling Stones and Elvis souvenirs. Good shot.
p.s.: what a good son you are!
