So today was the end of Melody's Birthday Getaway to Calgary. It was a wonderful time and on the way home we HAD to make a stop at classic Calgary Landmark. Peter's Drive-In has been around since 1962. They serve some great burgers, hotdogs, fries and amazing milkshakes. So we stopped here for an order of small fries, which really look like an extra-large order and milkshakes. It is so hard to find a Grape Shake but they have them here.
It really was not cold but since so many of you enjoyed our silly shot from the other day we figured we would do another one.

There's nothing like a great burger and fries and this looks like a shot from the 60s for sure. Glad it still remains---those were the best drive -ins not like the chains today.
Glad you two had a great time - I can tell by the look on her face. Sounds like a great place to eat. I don't know if I could do a grape shake but it sounds like something I would have to try.
Could be dangerous having it so close, but actually before we used to make a special effort to get to Peter's, but now that it's so close we seem to go less!
