So today the challenge was outside/inside. When we were at Gasoline Alley in Calgary Melody came across this 1959 Champion Travel Trailer. I managed to capture her looking at the inside of the trailer. Now you need to understand that Mel's idea of camping would involve a very large RV with all of the comforts of home. So I decided to go with that shot and add a shot of the interior of the trailer.
Now for myself I grew up spending a whole lot of time camping each summer. Not in a trailer like this but in a tent trailer with our whole family of seven squeezed in
I love seeing your interpretations of these words - another great one. We were not a camping family growing up. I have always thought I would like it either way but I would probably perfer the camper:-)
I like that you've shown both interior and exterior of the camper. We used to tent camp and I loved it--but when we moved to Louisiana, I found it too hot!
Jeff and I went through similar debates when our boys were young. I didn't mind camping- all I wanted was a pop-up trailer, the kind that had mattresses for sleeping. The rest I could handle, but I just didn't sleep well on the hard ground. Blow-up mattresses just didn't work for me. But he was a purist and insisted that unless we could carry it to the campsite and back it wasn't REAL camping. So, we never went! lol Fun collage.
@bkbinthecity Good question Brian, save my money and spend it on cruises rather than fuel and excessive camping fees. A powered site has increased from about $18 to over $35 over those years and fuel has in creased from under $1 to $1.50 and much more in remote places. That's per litre so multiply by 4 for roughly a gallon.
does it have running water? this is why i don't go camping. plus the bug bites i might suffer! and the thought that a snake might slither inside the tent. no, camping's not for me. the trailer might convince me, but what is the point? lovely collage, brian.
