The Heart of an Angel

So today we attended a funeral. Back in early December my brother-in-laws Mother was diagnosed with cancer and told that she only had a short time to live. This past Tuesday morning she passed away. Today was the funeral service. So before leaving the cemetery this angel caught my eye and I decided it would make a nice shot. I think it had a lot to do with how it is surrounded in the snow and holding a flower. She was a wonderful woman and will be missed by so many people

I am very behind with viewing and commenting, so just now encountering this sad news. I'm so sorry she was unable to win the battle with cancer. It is a vicious disease.
I think one sign of a life well-lived, is the number of people who mourn your death. It sounds like she was very loved.
