A couple of old signs by bkbinthecity

A couple of old signs

So today after work I met Melody at the doctor's office and then we had to do some grocery shopping and as a result I did not have the time I would have liked to search out for a nice autumn shot. Therefore, I am posting a larger version of one of the shots from my collage the other day. This is the Richards Block and as you can see it was once home to a furniture store and if you can see the second sign, a grocery store as well. Today the upper floors are used as office space and the main floor is a Tutti Frutti yogurt shop
Great b&w

it's nice that they retained the old wall. most of the time, they are attractive and can be a plus for one's business. i certainly would mosey on in there to take its pictures then get some yogurt afterwards. see? one possible sale already! very nice capture, brian.

I wonder which came first, the groceries or the place to sit and eat them! Nice capture. I like how the b/w brings out the texture of the bricks and the contrast of the signs.
