The Bug Room by bkbinthecity

The Bug Room

So after leaving the Wild Life Gallery we enter the Bug Room. Yes it is full of spiders, beetles and lots of other creepy crawlers.
So creepy enough that Melody wouldn't go in this exhibit.
Unlike the wildlife these are alive and moving about in there enclosed cases
Very nicely displayed! Did you take any photos of the bugs?

Poor Melody! I can handle looking at bugs, although some are pretty creepy. Snakes on the other hand, you could not pay me enough to go see an exhibit of them! Well, that's a bit of an exaggeration I suppose- but back to the bugs at hand. Looks like a fun exhibit- especially for kids who do like bugs!

How nice to be able to watch live bugs rather than see the them skewered to a board.

Lovely capture and a wonderful natural exhibition, think I might feel itchy walking round..

I don't blame Melody, this wouldn't be my cup of tea either. I know kids like them especially when they're still alive and crawling around in their enclosure.
December 12th, 2015
I have managed to overcome some of my squeamishness about bugs and spiders, at least enough to take pictures of them; but I understand how Melody feels.
December 12th, 2015
@pamdavis2015 Thanks Pam
December 28th, 2015
@bruni You are certainly right about the kids
December 28th, 2015
@tristansmum I know what that is like because I prefer them to be in enclosures
