The Federal Building was built in the 1950's to house the offices of the federal government in Edmonton. In the early 1980's it was vacated when the government built Canada Place. The provincial government bought this building from the federal government and used it for their offices. Over the past few years it underwent major renovations. I took this picture when I went to the Magna Carta Exhibit. The exhibit is being held in one if the new spaces in this building. This building is directly north of the Legislative Building that I showed all lit up with the Christmas lights .
Tomorrow I will post a shot if the interior lobby area of this building
