Inside The Chapel by bkbinthecity

Inside The Chapel

Today we take a look at the inside of the Father Lacombe Chapel. It is a rather simple building. The Altar at the front is quite elaborate for the humble little building.
The little framed pictures on the walls were their version of the Stations of the Cross .
The buffalo is used for students that take field trips. It helps teach all the different uses that the natives had from the buffalo that they would hunt.
So many interesting details!

Looks like a very interesting place to visit. The buffalo brings back memories of when I used to teach my students all the native uses of the buffalo - so many! And every bit was used - nothing wasted.

Wonderful looking chapel. The small size reminds me of the Italian Chapel on the Orkney islands.
