Day two of my series on things Canada is known for. Today it is the Canadian Rockies. These pictures were taken on a trip we took to British Columbia in September of 2014. The top picture is The Three Sister in Canmore and the bottom picture was taken just after entering Banff National Park.
If you have not already done so l would love to know what you think of when you think about Canada .
Today's post is for Laura @ljmanning for mentioning the mountains and toBucktree @dkellogg for mentioning the scenery in Alberta.
I love Canada! I have visited Victoria, Vancouver, Banff to Jasper, Calgary, Quebec City, Montreal, Toronto, Niagara Falls and Nova Scotia! Cannot wait to visit more beautiful places! Fav!
Thank you for looking/faving some of my older photos too. I appreciate it❤️
What I think of Canada is that there were a lot of donut shops when we drove across Ontario! Also that I'd like to visit it more. I love the clear bracing air that seems to be depicted in these pictures.
Our country is simply incredible. As a Southern Ontario girl, my Canada is rolling farmlands and the Great Lakes. I would love to travel west to see the Rockies again.
Beautiful shots of the Rockies! I've only seen them in the U.S. where I must say they are just as magnificent. When I think of Canada, I first think of several trips taken there over the years- first to the St. Lawrence Seaway and Thousand Island region while in high school. The stars at night were amazing and I saw the Northern Lights there and Heart Island. I also remember traveling up to Ottawa and how pretty that city was. I think of a trip we took from Vermont to Montreal when our boys were young- beautiful farmland along the road, seeing the park where the World's Fair had been held, and having authentic crepes for dinner. We also visited Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia once for our anniversary and tried to find the place where my parents met. More recently I've been to Niagara Falls since it's so close to where my older son lives. Lots of beauty from end to end in your grand country!
@olivetreeann Thank you Ann for sharing this. You have been to parts of our country that l have yet to visit. There are times when we are fortunate enough to see the Northern Lights here in Edmonton
Thank you for looking/faving some of my older photos too. I appreciate it❤️
