A Piece Of History

Located next to the Birk Building is The Armstrong Block. This is a one of a handful of buildings in Edmonton built prior to World War l . This was built in 1912. The basement and ground floor was used for retail space. The second floor was offices and the third floor was apartments. That format continues even to this day. In the window are a number of archive photos that l have included in this collage
