This is where I have lived for the last 8 years.. its a tiny cul-de-sac called Ritz Court.
I knew nothing about this town when I moved here, I booked the place after seeing pics online. I was recovering miles away from a laparotomy operation but needed to leave Holloway in London, where I was living up to that point.
I dont know what kept me there, not sure if it was the nice (and nosey) neighbours, the fact that it was very central to all the main roads and London for my job, or just the fact that I was fed up with moving so many times and I got lazy. I did love that it was the first time I had a flat to myself, was heaven not to have to share!
Like the bins? It was nicknamed 'Bin City' by us all as there are so many bins for recycling given by the council that it became a bit uglier!
The Ritz! - cucumber sandwiches all round! Ignore the bins and checkout that palm tree, it's a bit like Miami... Leeds is good - I stayed there for a bit in the mid-ninties. I'm sure you'll enjoy it!
Bins and palm trees nice and nosey neighbours. Sounds like good place to live but I am sure Leeds will have a lot that you will love very soon. Good luck on your move.
So this is a "Good-bye" photo? Best wishes to you on your move! I know what you mean about the bins... Anymore, nearly everywhere, we all have three apiece...and they're BIG! All that good ecology equals "sight blight"!
