Osia was the overwhelmingly popular winner from last week with her fabulous Speed photo shown below.
Osia and I spoke over the weekend and she has picked us a holiday related theme for this week...
I am beyond delighted for being the winner of this week's theme-speed! The fact that there are so many incredibly talented people on this site makes me feel very proud to have been chosen for this honor. I just wish I could share this joy with that doggy and it's owner, who will probably remain anonymous. He was one of the best subjects I have ever had, and did not even know how happy it made me!
As for next week's theme, since we are in the middle of the holidays, I was thinking of making it Tradition. However, after seeing this list, and thinking about what I like in this season, I thought I would make it Tradition in Lights. I love holidays with lights, and this particular time of the year should afford us a lot of opportunities for photographing them. This weekend a lot of Christmas lights have gone up on the exterior of houses, there are many Christmas tree lighting ceremonies, and if we hurry we could catch the last few days of menorah lighting for Hanukkah. I know I am itching to go out there and take pictures of twinkling lights and candle lights.
Again, thank you all for your votes and your confidence, and happy shooting! I cannot wait to see what everybody comes up with for this theme.
