Beautiful sunny afternoon along the Tyne. Spent an hour strolling along the riverside near the mouth of the Tyne, soaking up the sunshine. I love people watching and it was the perfect afternoon for it. Everyone seemed to be out and about never mind the arctic high winds! Thanks to the man with hat and his fur ball :-)
Couldn't decide which one to put in the main album and which edit I preferred - what do you think?
Thank you all for the comments and views! Greatly appreciated as always!! Been having a few early nights and am now furiously playing catch up with all your awesome shots!
Yep that's a tough one - think I prefer the sky on the other one and his looking in the distance is great but this one is lovely without the pylon and Richard's comment has put a new edge on it! :)
@pwallis you know, when I took this I did think "Paula would like this"!! isn't it funny how our eyes are influenced by what other people have shown us!
@bmnorthernlight haha! I'm the same when I'm roaming around as well. I think it's a great thing, because you end up shooting scenes you normally never would, simply because you're excited to show someone your find:)
Definitely this one - I love the action and the silhouette of that man tells you so much! Plus the dog is hilarious! I bent down to pick Monty's hoop up in the park this morning and got prodded in the bottom by a labrador that crept up behind me!
@judithg Thanks so much for the fav Judtih! that little fur ball was just so funny! kept running off in the wrong direction before the ball was thrown. Lol, the image of that labrador sneaking up on you is hilarious
I love this shot. I spent an hour on the beach watching kids and their dogs and my shot yesterday included a man and hs dog! Grewat silhouettes and doggy movement. Fave.
I think you picked the best of the three. The other man pic is great too, except that the dog is obscured...this is so simple and beautifully composed. I LOVE sillhouette shots!
You could make a really cool looking 'wind vane' pic using this technique!
