My mother and sister watching on as huge flocks of cranes set off for the day.
After a couple of days of mixed weather we were greeted by a wonderful sunrise. Due to the recent rain a lot of the resting places for the cranes are flooded and over 10,000 cranes spent the night on a small island. It's an amazing sound in the near darkness and huge rows of cranes start to leave their nightly quarters as soon as the first light starts to show.
